A Modern Evansville Courthouse Wedding | Intimate Downtown Ceremony
An Evansville courthouse wedding—but make it SO cool. 🖤
This day was simple, intentional, and proof that a small wedding can still feel completely unforgettable. They skipped the huge guest list and elaborate timeline and planned a celebration that felt completely like them.
A Small Wedding Centered on What Mattered Most
They kept their courthouse ceremony intimate, and she had her children right beside her as the two of them exchanged rings and made everything official.
Nothing felt overdone or rushed. Instead, the entire ceremony felt personal, relaxed, and focused on the moment they were experiencing together.
Honestly, that is one of my favorite things about intimate weddings. There is so much freedom to forget about what a wedding is “supposed” to look like and create a day that actually fits your life.
Editorial Wedding Portraits in Downtown Evansville
After the ceremony, we stepped outside for portraits around the courthouse—and I mean… EVERYTHING was so good.
Her modern bridal mini dress and long, flowing cape could not have been more perfect for the setting. His classic black tux kept everything timeless, while the florals added just the right amount of color and texture.
The courthouse columns, downtown architecture, and clean black-and-white wedding attire gave the portraits such an effortless editorial feeling. The entire look felt modern and bold without losing the emotion of the day.
An Intimate Wedding Can Still Feel Incredible
This wedding is your sign that your day does not have to be traditional or huge to be meaningful.
A courthouse wedding can still have gorgeous flowers, an amazing outfit, emotional moments, and portraits that feel like they belong in a magazine. It can be simple without feeling ordinary—and intimate without feeling like anything is missing.
If a courthouse ceremony or small, nontraditional wedding feels more like you, DO IT.
