Stone Haven Wedding Inspiration | Section, Alabama

Stone Haven in Section, Alabama, is one of those wedding venues that looks like it should require a passport.

Sitting above the Tennessee River, the property combines European-inspired architecture, a glass Atrium, black iron details, crystal chandeliers, and some truly unreal views. It feels romantic and elevated without losing the relaxed feeling that makes a wedding day actually enjoyable.

Marcus and Alina were so good for this editorial wedding shoot. Their chemistry made everything feel natural, and the combination of her lace ballgown, cathedral-length veil, and his classic black tux fit the venue perfectly.

The veil against the black glass conservatory? Unreal.

Editorial Wedding Portraits at Stone Haven

One of my favorite things about Stone Haven is how many completely different portrait locations are available without leaving the property.

We photographed around the glass conservatory, on the white staircase, beside the stone overlooks, and against the Tennessee River views. Every area gave us something different, from romantic bridal portraits to black-and-white images that felt a little more cinematic.

Marcus and Alina made the movement feel effortless. The long veil, the warm sunlight, and the European-inspired architecture did the rest.

Colorful Glasshouse Wedding Reception Inspiration

The reception design was easily one of my favorite parts of the entire shoot.

Blue-and-white patterned linens were paired with warm orange, coral, and yellow florals. The combination felt colorful without becoming too much, especially against the black iron architecture and natural light inside the Atrium.

If you’re planning a 2027 or 2028 wedding and want color without losing that elevated look, this is such a good example. The colors were intentional, the table felt layered, and everything photographed beautifully from every direction.
