Jayda and Ryan’s wedding at the Old Courthouse in downtown Evansville, Indiana felt romantic in the simplest, most intentional way. Portraits, a First Look, and the Best Light
We started the day with individual portraits so Jayda and Ryan could settle in before seeing each other. After that, they shared a first look in front of the large windows just off the ballroom. The light in that space was so good — soft, bright, and incredibly flattering.
They exchanged gifts and took a few quiet moments together. Then, we moved into portraits of the two of them. Because everything felt relaxed, their photos felt effortless and very them.

Jayda and Ryan chose the courthouse’s all-inclusive package, and it was such a good fit for the kind of day they wanted. They had exclusive use of the Vine Suite for an hour and a half, which gave them plenty of time to enjoy the ceremony and a light reception without feeling rushed.
The space was already beautifully decorated with romantic florals and an elegant altar, so there was nothing to overthink. Gold Chiavari chairs seated their closest friends and family, keeping everything intimate and personal.
After the ceremony, Jayda & Ryan enjoyed a champagne toast, charcuterie, and a two-layer cake together alone — simple, celebratory, and exactly what the day called for.
An Intimate Dinner at The Copper House
After the ceremony, Jayda and Ryan headed to The Copper House for a cozy dinner with their closest friends and family. The space was beautifully styled by Golden Rose New Harmony, and it felt warm, thoughtful, and welcoming — the perfect way to end the day.
It was relaxed, meaningful, and full of conversation and connection.
