WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS BASED IN INDIANA DOCUMENTING YOUR BOLD LOVE STORY.
Jillian and Alec are two adventurous souls who decided to celebrate their love in a unique way. Their wedding journey began with a perfect ceremony at Toccoa Falls, GA, and ended with a lively reception at City View at Sterling Square in Evansville, IN, after a two-week-long honeymoon. This perfectly untraditional wedding was filled with joy, tears, laughter, and a whole lot of love.
Nestled in the heart of North Georgia, Toccoa Falls provided a breathtaking backdrop for Jillian and Alec’s intimate ceremony. Known for its majestic waterfall and serene surroundings, Toccoa Falls is a favorite spot for couples seeking a picturesque and exclusive venue. One of the best things about Toccoa Falls weddings is the ability to block off the site for your ceremony and portraits. This ensures that your special moments are captured without any distractions or uninvited guests in the background. This is a significant advantage compared to other popular waterfall sites.
We had the honor of sharing the day documenting with Hunter Ezell who owns Ezell Film Co. He created Jillian & Alec’s amazing highlight video of their day in Toccoa that you can watch here.
What I loved most about this day was how important they made their ceremony. Jillian and Alec put a big emphasis on their vows and their exchange of rings. I found this to be so beautiful and not something you see often. Typically, when you have the ceremony and reception on the same day, the ceremony tends to take a back seat to the reception. Everyone is excited to get to the drinks, dancing, and food. But when you do what Jillian and Alec did and separate them, it gives the ceremony back its meaning and importance.
The couple also chose to invite only their closest family to the ceremony. They included those who have been an integral part of their journey. This selective guest list created an intimate and warm environment, where every smile, tear, and laugh was shared among the most important people in their lives.
After a dreamy two-week honeymoon, Jillian and Alec returned to Evansville, IN, for their grand reception at City View at Sterling Square. Jillian kicked off the day with a bold surprise, dyeing her hair a striking red to wow Alec at their first look. He had no clue he was about to discover his bride as the stunning redhead he’d always dreamed of.
The reception was the perfect complement to their intimate ceremony. It was a lively black-tie affair filled with dancing, laughter, and heartfelt toasts. They shared their joy with a larger group of friends and family, making it a true celebration of their love and the beginning of their new life together.
Jillian and Alec’s wedding was a testament to the beauty of doing things your way. Their wedding journey reminds us that the perfect wedding doesn’t have to follow tradition. It’s about celebrating your love in a way that feels right for you, surrounded by the people who matter most. Jillian and Alec’s perfectly untraditional wedding was a day filled with unforgettable moments, bound by love and shared with those closest to their hearts.
